Its an easy process to design & illustrate a book cover for you.
1. Tell me what you envision for your illustration and what the book is about. Its helpful if you can peruse through my website and tell me what you like.
2. Then I create a sketch or two and email them to you.
3. Once you have approved the sketch, I begin the process of creating an egg tempera painting to create the illustration. I use egg tempera because it is the most luminous & beautiful medium in the world. It also reproduces better than any other medium!
4. Once the painting is finished, I scan it and email it to you for your approval. You can also request a hard copy color proof at this stage.
5. After you have approved the final illustration image, I provide you with a 600dpi high resolution CD of the image as well as color proof. The image is ready to add text and go to your printer!
