Artists Inspiration: I love Tuscany & I love roses! I have many rose bushes my Colorado gardens. I wanted an Italian inspired stone terrace overlooking a soft impressionist landscapes framed by roses. The basket on the floor of the terrace has is full of bread & wine. This artwork had a magical feeling from the day I started the first sketches.
There is a long tradition of pairing roses & grape vines. When you drive through California wine country you will notice rose bushes planted at the end of a row of grapes in a vineyard.
