The lotus is a very inspirational and spiritual
flower. Its a symbol for purity,
enlightenment, self generation and rebirth. In this painting I really want to
"let the paint flow". Each petal is an an
individual serendipitous work of art, but it
all works together to impart beauty and
meaning.

About this original artwork: This
lotus flower painting is painted in thick, glossy acrylic
paint which I made myself so that I could get a
pearly nature to the paint. I love these colors of green and silvery white,
they are very uplifting and soothing. It was painted
on a 30" x 30" x 2" thick art board panel. The
2" sides are painted in dark green.
Its frameless format fits a contemporary style
and decor very nicely
