About these contemporary paintings
/sculptures: To create these original
artworks, artist Linda Paul first cuts a board in
the shape of the bird and then applies metals and
gold leaf. The reflections of light off of the
metal is what gives the art an amazing light
of its own.. She then creates her own transparent
paint with a mixture of pigments and acrylic
polymers. The sculptures can be mounted
on your wall either with special removable
velcro fasteners or self adhesive strips (both
included)
You can hang the birds in any
direction and order as many as you like to
create a flock of birds on your wall. its a great
decorating idea for filling up a large wall
space with something very unique and beautiful.
You can custom order these birds in larger sizes
The birds can also be ordered on
laser cut plexiglass for more commercial
installations such as hotel art, offices, health
care and restaurants

Artist's Inspirations:
The inspiration for the bird sculptures came
from the frigate birds I observed on a
trip to Ambergris Cay in Belize. The way
they soar and their sense of freedom
was empowering.
I created this
set of 3 paintings with the birds in the far
left panel , then had an idea to create two
very large bird graphics to go on the wall
in behind the paintings. This process then
led to the creation of my colorful bird wall
art sculptures
