Handmade freeform bonsai concrete slabs and pots for sale
- lightweight and strong
|
Process: The internal structure of this pot is sculptor's wire that Linda formed into shape
by hand. Then pigmented dark concrete was applied by hand. The
final finish is a beautiful bronze earth color. This pot is
relatively light for a slab of this size, yet very strong. There is internal wire structure in every part of the pot. The base color of
dark grey is
throughout the entire slab. So if you were ever to chip it, the
dark grey is all the way through. Drilling holes: I have drilled 24 holes. The pot drills very easily, so you can add more holes wherever you want them. Just use a masonry bit and water. click on video to see this pot being drilled |
